Between 9 – 11 June 2021, The 3rd Naval Area Command sends HTMS Krabi and Dornier – 228 aircraft (DO-228) joining the joint patrol between the Royal Thai Navy and the Indian Navy , called the 31st INDO - THAI COORDINATED PATROL (INDO - THAI CORPAT) which is taken place in the maritime area of the two countries in the Andaman Sea

From the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) epidemic situation, this joint international patrol is implemented under "New Normal" measures by patrolling the area of their maritime territory, coordinating radio practice and visual signals communication. No warships were brought close together. There is also no port visit. The implemented measures will ensure the joint patrol must follow the New Normal norm to reduce the risk of spreading the COVID-19 epidemic effectively.

The joint patrol between the Royal Thai Navy and the Indian Navy has been operating for many years. Currently, the 31st joint patrol, which is considered to strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the Royal Thai Navy and the Indian Navy. Besides, It will enhance knowledge, experience and professionalism to international practice as well as promote the image of the Navy at the international level.

ทัพเรือภาคที่ 3 จัดเรือและอากาศนาวี ร่วมการลาดตระเวนร่วม ระหว่างกองทัพเรือไทย และกองทัพเรืออินเดีย ในทะเลอันดามัน

ระหว่างวันที่ 9 – 11 มิถุนายน 2564 ทัพเรือภาคที่ 3 จัดเรือหลวงกระบี่ และเครื่องบินลาดตระเวนแบบที่ 1 (DO-228) เข้าร่วมการลาดตระเวนร่วมระหว่างกองทัพเรือไทย และกองทัพเรืออินเดีย ภายใต้รหัส INDO - THAI COORDINATED PATROL (INDO – THAI CORPAT) ครั้งที่ 31 ในพื้นที่ทะเลอันดามัน บริเวณรอยต่อเขตแดนทางทะเลของทั้ง 2 ประเทศ

จากสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรน่า 2019 (COVID – 19) การลาดตระเวนร่วมระหว่างประเทศในครั้งนี้ จึงดำเนินการตามมาตรการรูปแบบวิถีชีวิตแบบใหม่ "New Normal" โดยจะทำการลาดตระเวนในพื้นที่อาณาเขตทางทะเลของตน ประสานการปฏิบัติทางวิทยุ และทางทัศนสัญญาณ ไม่มีการนำเรือรบเข้ามาใกล้กันโดยเด็ดขาด อีกทั้งยังไม่มีการเข้าจอดเรือเยี่ยมเมืองท่าของแต่ละประเทศ จึงทำให้มั่นใจได้ว่าการลาดตระเวนร่วมครั้งนี้ได้ดำเนินการตามรูปแบบวิถีชีวิตแบบใหม่ "New Normal" อย่างเคร่งครัด

ทั้งนี้การลาดตระเวนร่วมระหว่างกองทัพเรือไทย และกองทัพเรืออินเดีย ได้มีการดำเนินการที่ต่อเนื่องมาอย่างยาวนาน ครั้งนี้เป็นครั้งที่ 31 ซึ่งนับว่าเป็นการกระชับความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือระหว่างกองทัพเรือไทยและกองทัพเรืออินเดีย อีกทั้งยังทำให้กำลังพลของเรือรบ ได้รับความรู้และประสบการณ์ ในการปฏิบัติงานระหว่างประเทศ ตลอดจนเป็นการส่งเสริมภาพลักษณ์ของกองทัพเรือ ในระดับนานาชาติต่อไป
